Shelby J. Mohler, 82, of Ephrata, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Born in Reamstown, she was the daughter of the late Octavius and Dorothy (Roth) Reese and the devoted wife of Paul Mohler Jr. for 62 years.

Shelby earned an associate’s degree from the former Consolidated School of Business in Lancaster. She worked as a school bus driver for the Cocalico School District for 11 years, then as a sewer for the former W.W. Moyer Co., and later she worked in medical transcription. Shelby enjoyed playing cards, especially 500 Rummy and Back Alley, crafting of all kinds, and reading mysteries. Her greatest joy was time spent with her great‑grandchildren, who lovingly called her Nana. Known for her warm personality, love of conversation, and fun spirit, Shelby made friends wherever she went.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters Melissa L. Hall (Tom) of Lancaster and Kelley Moyer (Michael) of Ephrata; grandchildren Lauren Baxter, Dakota Baxter, Mitchell Moyer (Dani), Reece Kupp, and Cordell Moyer (Kacie); and great‑grandchildren Christian, Colton, Carter, and Kennedi. She was preceded in death by her brothers Ronald, Thomas, and David Reese.

Services will be held on Tues., April 14th at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens), Pa. Viewing: 10 – 11:00 a.m. Service: 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Bergstrasse Cemetery, Ephrata.
