Ronald C. Root

Ronald C. Root, age 72, of Ephrata, Borough, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania,died Monday, September 4, 2017, at 1:55 AM in Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Bryn Mar, Delaware County, a son of the late Charles A. and Bertha (Cloud) Root, he was a Vietnam War Army veteran. Ron worked as a security guard for Pfizer, Lititz, and enjoyed facebook. Surviving is a brother, John A. Root, Sr., Kingswood, TX; and nieces and nephews. Siblings, David Lee Joyce Marie, predeceased him. Military honors will be accorded on Thursday, September 14, at 11:30 AM in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Lebanon County.
