Mai Lee was born in Laos and lost both of her parents at a very young age. Despite experiencing hardship early in life, she grew into a strong and resilient woman. She later met her husband, Chong Vue Moua, who was also an orphan, and together they built a life rooted in love, perseverance, and family.

Mai Lee was blessed with 12 children, with 6 surviving children — 3 sons and 3 daughters. Through her children, she became a proud and loving grandmother to 41 grandchildren, along with many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren whom she was blessed to witness throughout her lifetime.

She lived a long and beautiful life until the age of 101. Mai Lee was especially talented in quilting and fabric textile work, creating pieces with great care and skill. She also enjoyed simple joys such as blueberry picking, spending time with loved ones, and being surrounded by family gatherings filled with laughter and conversation.

Mai Lee was the heart of her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose love, strength, wisdom, and kindness touched many lives. She will always be remembered for the care she gave to others, the family she helped build, and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.

Services will be held at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc. beginning on Fri., June 5th at 7:00 a.m. and will continue into the following day, Sat. June 6th in the afternoon. Mai's final resting place will be at Weaverland Cemetery, East Earl.
