Linda S.
Moskal
September 10, 1955 – April 16, 2026
Linda S. Moskal, 70, of Denver, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Esther (Harris) Cantwell and the loving wife of Gary Moskal for 49 years, until his passing in 2022. Their marriage was a true partnership, steady, devoted, and filled with the kind of everyday love that leaves a lasting imprint.
A 1973 graduate of Lenape High School in Medford, NJ, Linda carried a strong work ethic and creative spirit throughout her life. She enjoyed woodworking and refinishing furniture during her time at Early Pine Furniture. She also worked at ACME, and later volunteered at Lancaster Prison, where she was especially proud to support the drug rehabilitation group. She also worked at several schools, where she cared deeply for the special‑needs students that she supported.
Linda had a gift for making life beautiful. Her flower gardens were admired by all; vibrant, carefully tended, and a reflection of her love for being outdoors. She was known for her independence, her strong will, and her ability to bring fun and energy into any room. She was the life of the party, the one who could make people laugh, and the one who always showed up when someone needed support.
Family was the center of her world. Being a Mom‑mom brought her immeasurable joy, and she was deeply involved in the lives of her grandchildren and great‑grandchildren. She loved them fiercely and celebrated every milestone, big or small.
Linda was a member of Cocalico Community Church and enjoyed attending community events, always eager to connect with others. She also loved a good bargain; thrifting, sales, and treasure‑hunting were her favorite ways to shop. She also cherished her close circle of friends, they gathered monthly, supporting one another through all of life’s ups and downs.
She is survived by her sisters Carol Conrad (Ed), Karen Barrineau, and Diane Kokoszka (Stan); her son‑in‑law Jose Aleman; grandchildren Kirsten Barton (Zack), Keighlyn Aleman, and Karleigh Aleman; and great‑grandchildren Peyton, Everley, and Alias. She also leaves behind her loyal companion, her dog Sportster, who was always by her side.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband Gary, her son Brian Moskal, her daughter Kelly Aleman, her granddaughter Alexandrea Moskal, and her brothers William Cantwell and Robert “Bruce” Cantwell.
Linda will be remembered for her strength, generosity, humor, and her unwavering love for her family. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and the joy she brought into the world.
Services will be held Friday, April 24th at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34 N. Reamstown Rd., Reamstown (Stevens). Viewing: 10 – 11 a.m., Service: 11:00 p.m. Linda’s final resting place will be Muddy Creek Cemetery, Denver.
