John G.
Warnstaff
January 5, 1976 – April 23, 2026
John G. Warnstaff, 50, of Reading. John was born in Marshall, Texas. He was the son Larry and I never had. He was very intelligent and super caring with with simplicity of a 14 year old. He loved his kitties, his 2 shitzus and his turtle. He had a love of fashion and sneakers. He love natural meds. John loved his weed. He loved to smoke and have his kind of deep conversation. Usually about the state of drugs in the country or how we could live better. He’d follow it up with a donut or a cookie and then watch his YouTube videos. He enjoyed a good gym session and even more a good bike ride. John enjoyed swimming and laying in the sun. He loved being around Larry and I, surprising us with simple things and always tried to help us. Whether it be cleaning the house, washing dishes, or just walking one of the puppies. He would even do my laundry sometimes. I never expected it either. He always told us he loved us at night. Gave us hugs and kisses before we left for work and always told us to have a good day. We had 10 beautiful years with that wonderful, sweet, and very gentle soul. We will be forever blessed, forever broken, eternally grateful. John will always be loved and remembered as long as all us who loved him remember him.
~Tribute lovingly written by James Gilbert Jr., husband of Larry Grant
