Herbert M. Carter's Obituary
Herbert M. Carter, 87, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, May 15th, 2026, at Abbeyville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster. Born in Stevens, Herbert was the son of the late Morice C. & Emily (Steager) Carter, and the loving husband of the late Beatrice (Fromm) Carter.
Herbert's heart will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 28th, at 10:00 a.m. at Mellinger's Union Cemetery, 80 Gockley Rd, Stevens, PA 17578.
