Donald “Donnie” E. Stauffer, 76, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. A lifelong resident of Ephrata, he was born on January 6, 1950, to the late the Abram S. Stauffer and Estella M. (Fisher) Stauffer. 

Donnie was well known in the community as the owner of Donald Stauffer Auto Body in Reamstown. Through his work, he built lasting connections and was recognized for his dedication and steady presence. He also gave generously of himself as a volunteer EMT with the Reamstown Ambulance Association for many years, serving others with compassion and commitment. A man of faith, Donnie was a member of Mohler Church of the Brethren. He was a hardworking man that enjoyed the simple things in life. During retirement, Donnie could be found at the range, hunting, fishing, or attending auctions. Travel brought him much happiness, especially trips to Alaska and Missouri to see family. He enjoyed visiting new places and seeing different things, carrying a spirit of curiosity and appreciation for the world around him. Donnie will be remembered for his service to others, his love of the outdoors, and the many simple joys that filled his life. 

Donnie is survived by his children; Donald L. Stauffer, Sheri L. Miller married to Robert Miller and Michael P. Stauffer. Also surviving is the children’s half-sister, Melissa Higgins; and his grandchildren, seven siblings; Janice Weaver, Abram Stauffer, Robert Stauffer, Melvin Stauffer, Sandy Zimmerman, Sharon Fox, Jay Stauffer and many nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Bertha Neff and Timothy Stauffer.

Family and friends are invited to remember and honor Donnie at a viewing on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Good Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 N. Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA 17567. A second viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Mohler Church of The Brethren, 21 E Mohler Church Rd, Ephrata, PA 17522, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
