Obituary

Craig A. Hassler, 70, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026, at his home in Mohnton. Born on April 16, 1955, in Reading, Pennsylvania, Craig was a son of the late Allan & Fern (Ruby) Hassler, and the loving husband of Linda (Gancar) Hassler.

A graduate of Cocalico High School's class of 1973, Craig went on to establish himself as the owner of Rhoads Electric Service, where his commitment to quality and service earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Craig was a member of several local organizations, including the Mohnton Fish and Game and the Pennwyn Motor Association, reflecting his deep ties to the community. An avid outdoorsman, he found great joy in fishing, hunting, and golfing—hobbies that offered him solace and connection with nature throughout his life. Craig’s memory will endure in the hearts of those who loved him and will miss him greatly.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Hassler; his daughters, Trisha Hassler and Kristen (Gregory) March; and his cherished grandchildren, Hazel and Henry March. Craig is predeceased by his son, Kevin Hassler.

A graveside service will be held on April 14, at 11:00 a.m. at Cedar Grove Cemetery, located on North Broad Street in Adamstown, Pennsylvania.
