Remembering Margaret with Love... Margaret Effinger, 97, formerly of Havertown, Chester County , died Saturday, September 30, 2006, in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens. She resided in Lancaster County for the past six years. Born March 31, 1909, in Leibzig , Germany , she was a daughter of the late Frank and Dorothy (Schultz) Kleszak. Her husband, Charles W. Effinger, Sr., died March 26, 1993. A graduate of Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia, she also received education at West Chester University and University of Pennsylvania, and was an elementary school nurse for the Philadelphia School District for over 40 years, retiring in 1974. A member of Manoa Presbyterian Church, Haverford Township , she was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and crocheting. Surviving is a son, Charles W., Jr., husband of Dorothy (Getz) Effinger, Denver , PA ; a daughter, Dorothy Anne Effinger, Ephrata , PA ; grandchildren, Charles W. Effinger III and Margaret Seiler; and great-grandchildren, Charles IV and Lauren Effinger. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre, Inc., 34-38 North Reamstown Road, Reamstown, PA 17567, with The Rev. Sandra L. Gideon officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Graveside inurnment services will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2006, at 10:00 AM in Muddy Creek Cemetery , East Cocalico Township .
