Kathryn E. "Kassie" REDDIG Obituary (1928 - 2008)

Remembering "Kassie" with Love... Kathryn E. "Kassie" Reddig, 80, of Reamstown, died Monday, December 1, 2008, at 11:20 PM in Maple Farms Nursing Center , Akron , where she was a guest since August. Born in Reamstown, a daughter of the late Paul J. and Amy (Ansel) Hoaster, her husband, W. Eugene Reddig, died September 15, 1993. A member of Salem Evangelical Reformed Church, Reamstown, she was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidery and being with family and friends. Kassie was a graduate of East Cocalico High School , a member of Happy Hours Club, Reamstown, and a lifetime member of the Reinholds VFW. Surviving is a daughter, Sherry K., wife of Allan Youndt, Reinholds; 2 grandchildren, Jenni Zimmerman and Jesse Youndt; and 3 great-grandchildren, Owen Zimmerman, and twins, Emma Jean and Jillian Kate Youndt. Viewing Funeral Service... Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 5, 2008, at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home Cremation Centre of Reamstown with her pastor, The Rev. Stephen E. Hollinger, officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery , Denver . Viewings will be held on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
