Born in Ephrata, a son of Ruth L. (Fry) Foltz, Denver , and the late James P. Foltz, he was employed by Bollman Hat Company, Adamstown and San Angelo , TX . A peacetime Army veteran, he attended Grace Fellowship Church and was an avid outdoor sportsman; loving hunting and fishing. Also surviving is a sister, Susan Ruth (Martin L.) Fickes, Denver .
