C. Martin
Paul was born in Shillington, Berks County, PA, a son of the late William A. and Cora M. (Renninger) Martin. His wife, Ada Mae (Gensemer) Martin, died December 12, 1999. He was a member and former deacon of Swamp United Church of Christ, Reinholds, and was a 50 year member of Chandler Lodge #227 Free & Accepted Mason, Reading, and the Reading Consistory. Paul has worked at the former Berkshire Knitting Mill, Wyomissing; former Dutchmaid, Inc., Ephrata; and retired from Carpenter Technology, Corp., Reading. He was also a life-long farmer. He is survived by a brother, Lynn R., married to Marian (Hornberger) Martin, Akron; a sister, Miriam, married to Howard H. Gerhart, Reading; and several nieces and nephews.
Held onThursday, May 10, 2001, at 10:00 AM from our parlor with his nephew, Rev. Jeffrey L. Martin, and his pastor, Rev. M. Craig Snow, officiating. Interment was in Swamp Cemetery, Reinholds. A viewing was held one hour prior to the services.
