Alverta was born in East Cocalico Township, Lanca ster County, PA, a daughter of the late Howard and Grace V. (Berg) Brubaker. She cleaned for several local businesses and in dividuals until the time of
her illness and was a member of the Reamstown Athletic Association. Alverta loved playing the piano and organ and enjoyed dancing. She is survived by 2 daughters, Tracey L., of Lebanon; and Holly J., of Denver; 2 sons, Brian R., married to Sue (Gerhart) Franck, Denver; and Dale C. Frank, Ephrata; 4 grandchild ren; a great-granddaughter; a sister, Betty J. Rishel, Denver; and 2 brothers, Lavern, married to Rose Brubaker, Ephrata; and Vernon
Brubaker, Florida. A brother, Larry Berg, preceded her in death.  She died Tuesday in the Ephrata Community Hospital where she was a patient since April 13th.  Alverta lived at 99 Monroe Street, Denver, PA 17517.
