Remembering Boua with Love...    

Boua Khue Yang, 84, of 78 Reagan Drive , Ephrata, Lancaster County , died Friday, December 30, 2005, in the Essa Flory Hospice Center .    Born September 5, 1921, in Xieng Khouang, Laos , he was a son of the late Cher Ge Yang and Plia Moua.   A member of the Hmong Alliance Church , Leola, he was the first in his village in Laos to accept Christianity.  Boua was a farmer in Laos and made shoes after immigrating to the United States .  He fought with the US – Laos Coalition Army in the Vietnam War.  Surviving is his wife, Throu Vang; 6 sons, Youa Nhia Yang, Chapin, SC; Tong Yang, Ellerbe, NC; Kou Yang, Fairview, MO; Kou Yang, Ephrata, PA; Mong Yang, Ephrata, PA; and Chue Yang, Ephrata, PA; 6 daughters, Mee Moua, St. Paul, MN; Ker Vang, St. Paul, MN; Mai Chue Yang, Wausau, WI; Kia Lo, Wausau, WI; May Lee, Denver, PA; Chia Yang, NY, NY; many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ga Neng Yang, Laos.

 

 

Viewings and Services... Viewing and services will be held Thursday and Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM.  The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006, at 9:00 AM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Inc. of Reamstown with his pastor, Rev. Pao Her, officiating.  Burial will follow in Mohler’s Cemetery, Ephrata , PA.
