Remembering Martin with Love...    

Martin Z. Weaver, 87, formerly of Stevens and New Holland, Lancaster County, died under hospice care Friday, June 24, 2005, in Tempe, AZ. Born August 13, 1917, in Hinkletown, Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Aaron and Mary (Zimmerman) Weaver.  His beloved wife, Ruth A. (Newswanger) Weaver, died April 21, 2002.  A member of Hope United Methodist Church, Ephrata, he was a farmer and machine operator at Reading Door Closer, Reamstown, PA, Blue Ball Machine Works, Blue Ball, PA, and Beloit Eastern, Downington, PA..  He also was a maintenance supervisor with Adams Machinery, Phoenix, AZ, and an electrician at various businesses. Surviving are two  daughters, Margaret R. Klinger, Mesa, AZ ; and Linda D. Weaver, South Sterling, PA; three sons, John D., husband of Reinhild Weaver, Bonn, Germany; Larry A. Weaver, Boise, Idaho; Don R., husband of Joyce Weaver, Lutz, FL;  9 Grandchildren; 10 Great-grandchildren.

 

 

 

 

Viewing & Service

A celebration of Martin's life will be held on  Thursday morning, June 30, 2005, at 11:00 AM from Hope United Methodist Church, 3473 Rothsville Road, Ephrata, PA 17522, The Reverend Fred C. Lowery officiating, with a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Springville Mennonite Cemetery, Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, PA, beside his wife and son, Bobby.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted, however, you may remember Martin with contributions to Hospice of the Valley, Desert at Friendship Village, 2645 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282.
