Douglass E. Rothermel

     Douglass E. Rothermel, 96, formerly of West Lawn, Berks County, died Sunday, March 13, 2005, at 9:45 AM in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens, Lancaster County, where he resided since January 12, 2004.  Born in Reading , Berks County , he was a son of the late Clarence and Anna (Craig) Rothermel.  His wife, Helen (Pfleger) Rothermel, died March 9, 1978.  He was a truck driver for 35 years with Automotive Service, Inc., Sinking Spring, Berks County .   Surviving is a son, Douglass H., married to Betty J. (Hess) Rothermel, Denver , Lancaster County ; a grandson; 2 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
