Cecelia
E. Roach, 53, of 16 Jenich Drive, Reinholds, East Cocalico
Township, Lancaster County, was found dead in her home Friday
evening of an apparent suicide following a lengthy illness.
An autopsy will be performed on Monday morning at
Conestoga View, Lancaster.
Born
in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late George W. and
Evelyn J. (Todd) Roach.
She
was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, New
Holland, Lancaster County.
Retiring
in 2002, she was employed for 30 years by the Reading School
District as an 5th grade teacher for 22 years and
she last taught 8th grade.
A
1968 Graduate of Garden Spot High School, New Holland, she
graduated from Kutztown University, where she also received
her masters degree in 1975.
She acquired her Principal’s Certification at Temple
University.
Cecelia
was a member of the National and Pennsylvania State Educators
Associations, the Reinholds VFW, the Ephrata American Legion
and the Gouglersville Fire Co. |

Service
Cecelia's Life will be Celebrated on Saturday morning, June 26, 2004, at 11:00 AM from her church, Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 221 East Main Street, New Holland, PA 17557, with her pastor, The Reverend Matthew J. Lamb, officiating. Her urn will be interred immediately following the church service in the adjoining cemetery.
