Remembering Larry with Love...    

Larry R. Kauffman, Sr., 64, of 31 Sunflower Drive , Ephrata, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005, at 12 Noon in his residence under the care of Hospice of Lancaster County.  Born December 31, 1940, in Reading , Berks County , he was a son of the late Edward L. and Catherine M. (Snyder) Kauffman, and was the husband of Betty J. (Noll) Kauffman for 47 years.  A member of Reamstown Church of God, he was employed for 20 years by General Battery, now Exide Corporation, Reading , and had last worked as a driver for Manheim Auto Auction.  Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.  Surviving in addition to his wife are 5 daughters, Denise A. (Kauffman) Keith, Denver, PA; Kim (Kauffman), wife of Steven Montgomery, Ephrata, PA; Patricia (Kauffman) Rotkiske, Ephrata, PA; Barbara (Kauffman), wife of Mark Montgomery, Akron, PA; and Tracy (Kauffman), wife of Jason Stricker, Reamstown, PA; 2 sons, Larry R., Jr., husband of Helen Kauffman, Sinking Spring, PA; and Glenn D. Kauffman, Reamstown, PA;  12 grandchildrend and 7 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Kauffman) wife of Thomas Williams, Amity, Oregon; and a brother, Wayne, husband of Sharon (Hahn) Kauffman, Reading, PA.  A brother George Kauffman preceded him in death.

 

 

 

 Viewing & Funeral Service...                                               A viewing will be held on Monday evening, January 2, 2006, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.  Services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at 10:00 AM from our parlors with The Rev. Arthur T. Karick and
The Rev. Joel R. Hainley officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park , Reiffton, Berks County , PA.
