, died Thursday at 5:50 PM in his residence following a
lengthy illness. Born in

, he was a son of the late Edward and Margaret (Seddons) Hall,
and was the husband of Mildred L. (Long) Hall. An Army
Corporal during the Korean War he received 5 bronze stars for
his service and was a member of the Adamstown VFW. He
retired after 32 years with the Philadelphia Daily News,
Philadelphia
, and last worked at the Sharp Shopper, Ephrata,
Lancaster
County
. Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 daughters,
Nancy (Hall), married to Robert Colbeck, Fieldsboro, NJ; Joan
(Hall), married to Claude Billings, Laurel, NJ; and Elizabeth
(Hall), married to Ray Hofflinger, Hamilton, NJ; 7
grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; also 2
step-daughters, Jane (Cover), married to Michael Ansel,
Denver, PA; Darla (Cover), married to David Schumacher,
Newmanstown, PA; 2 step-sons, Ronald, married to Lynne (Hope)
Cover, Mohnton, PA; and Scott Cover, Ephrata, PA; 7
step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and a brother,
George Hall,
