Remembering Edward with Love...    

Edward J. Hall, 74, of 9 Adamstown Road , Reinholds, Lancaster County , died Thursday at 5:50 PM in his residence following a lengthy illness.  Born in Philadelphia , PA , he was a son of the late Edward and Margaret (Seddons) Hall, and was the husband of Mildred L. (Long) Hall.  An Army Corporal during the Korean War he received 5 bronze stars for his service and was a member of the Adamstown VFW.  He retired after 32 years with the Philadelphia Daily News, Philadelphia , and last worked at the Sharp Shopper, Ephrata, Lancaster County .  Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 daughters, Nancy (Hall), married to Robert Colbeck, Fieldsboro, NJ; Joan (Hall), married to Claude Billings, Laurel, NJ; and Elizabeth (Hall), married to Ray Hofflinger, Hamilton, NJ; 7 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter; also 2 step-daughters, Jane (Cover), married to Michael Ansel, Denver, PA; Darla (Cover), married to David Schumacher, Newmanstown, PA; 2 step-sons, Ronald, married to Lynne (Hope) Cover, Mohnton, PA; and Scott Cover, Ephrata, PA;  7 step-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; and a brother, George Hall, Philadelphia , PA.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

Viewing & Service

A viewing will be held on Monday morning, October 25, 2004, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM from our parlors with the service beginning at 11:00 AM.  A priest from Our Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Ephrata, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Weaverland Mennonite Cemetery, East Earl, Lancaster County, PA.
