Margaret
D. “Peg” Buch, 80, of 135 West Queen Street, Ephrata,
Lancaster County, died Saturday evening at 6:40 PM in Ephrata
Manor, Ephrata Township, Lancaster County, where she was a
guest since June 23, 2003.
Born
in Darlington, Wisconsin, she was a daughter of the late John
and Mae (Finley) Moore, and was the wife of Robert R. Buch for
57 years on May 25, 2003.
Mrs.
Buch was of the catholic faith.
She
was a 1940 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy, Lancaster.
“Peg”
was employed for many years as a sales associate with
Royer’s Pharmacy, Ephrata, and had been a waitress at the
American Legion Dining Hall, Ephrata.
A
dog lover, she had owned and raised numerous miniature
dachshunds in her lifetime.
Surviving
in addition to her husband are 2 daughters, Theresa A. (Buch),
married to Warren Specht, Ephrata, PA; and Stasia J. (Buch),
married to Scott Weiler, Lititz, PA; 2 grandchildren; 3
great-grandchildren; and a brother, Paul, married to Betty
(Weaver) Moore, Scranton, PA;
She
was preceded in death by a sister, Naomi Halligan, and a
brother, Gerald Moore. |

Visitation
& Services... Peg's family will receive friends from our funeral parlor on Wednesday evening, July 2, 2003, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The memorial service will begin at 7:00 PM with her son-in-law, Pastor Scott Weiler, officiating. Private inurnment will take place in Brownstown Cemetery, West Earl Township, Lancaster County, PA.
