Erma Arleen Shirey, age 84, of 26 Hinden Homes, Denver, Lancaster County, PA, died Thursday evening at 11:50 PM in Maple Farms Nursing Center, Akron, PA.  Born in Oley, Berks County, PA, she was a daughter of the late William and Erma (Potteiger) Renninger, and was the wife of Richard E. Shirey for 53 years.  Erma was a housewife and is also survived by a daughter, Carol A., wife of Darrell Bewley, Denver, PA; a son, Robert E., husband of Carol (Manmiller) Shirey, Bethel, PA; 4 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and a brother, Harold Renninger, Kenhorst, PA.

All arrangements are being handled privately by the family.
