Remembering "Sonny" with Love...    

     E. Omar “Sonny” Hagy, 79, Denver, died unexpectedly in his residence Friday, August 1, 2008.  Born in Denver, he was a son of the late Emanuel B. and Maude (Becker) Hagy.  Retiring in 1992, he was the former owner-operator of Hagy’s Plumbing, Denver, from 1965 to 1992.  The business is currently owned and operated by his son.  “Sonny” was an army veteran of WWII, enjoyed hunting and fishing, trips to Canada, riding his motorcycle and smoking a good cigar.  He was a drummer for many years with The Royal Aires and Heidelberg Polka Band.  Surviving is his son, Troy M., husband of Lori (Reedy) Hagy, Denver, PA; grandsons, Joshua E and Andrew E., both Denver, PA; and a sister, Marian L. (Hagy) Ravegum, Denver, PA.

 

 

 

 

 

Viewing & Funeral Service...

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2008, at 10:00 AM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre of Reamstown with The Rev. Dennis L. Trout officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Denver, PA.   A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and the casket will be open prior to the service on Thursday.
