Grace E. Youndt

Grace Evelyn Youndt, age 91, of Manheim Township, Lancaster County, PA, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at 2:30 AM in the Ephrata Community Hospital following a brief illness.  The widow of Luke L. Youndt, who died in 1964, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Daisy (Zerbe) Trostle.  Born in Adamstown, Grace was a member of Allegheny United Church of Christ, Alleghenyville, Berks County, PA.  A self-employed beautician most of her life, she loved children and animals.  Surviving is a daughter, Phyllis, widow of George Rothermel, Mountville, PA; sons, Thomas C., husband of Bonnie Youndt, Marietta, PA;  Michael J., husband of Amy J. (Smith) Youndt, Morgantown, PA; a brother, Arthur Trostle; sisters, Pearl Stubbs and Joyce Coldren; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Gary A. Youndt, a brother and 4 sisters.

Funeral services were held from our establishment on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 11:00 AM with The Reverend Ruth Ann Seibert officiating.  Burial followed in Muddy Creek Cemetery, East Cocalico Township, PA.  A viewing was held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
