Jean Heather Sanders, 84, of 925 Willow Valley Lakes Drive #401, Willow Street, formerly of Levittown, PA, and Orlando, Florida, died Saturday, March 15, 2008, at 3:55 AM in Arbor View Nursing Center of Willow Valley Retirement Community. Born in Dartmouth, England, a daughter of the late Ralph A. and Lucy (Bodilly) Barton, her husband, Larkin L. "Lee" Sanders, died November 5, 1989. She was employed by ETS, Princeton, New Jersey, prior to retirement. A life member of Holly Hill Woman's Club, Levittown, PA, she was also a member of the Delaware Valley Choral Society and the Orlando Methodist Church Women's Circle, Orlando, Florida. Jean is survived by 2 sons, Daniel L. Sanders, Lancaster, PA; and Richard B. Sanders, Levittown, PA; a daughter, Suzanne L., wife of Joseph McNutt, Levittown, PA; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer L. McNutt, Barbara Jean McNutt and John William Mahan; and 4 great-granddaughters.
Meadow Ridge at Willow Valley
Jean's life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 2:00 PM from Meadow Ridge 4th Floor Auditorium, 925 Willow Valley Lakes Drive, Willow Valley, PA 17584. The celebration will be followed by a reception on the lower level of the facility. Rather than flowers, please remember Jean with contributions toward Telecom Pioneers 2008 Sports Jamboree for Handicapped Children c/o L. H. Kinnard #7, 303 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17101-5618.
Private inurnment will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery with the cremains of her late husband.
