Evelyn May Gehman, 77, Denver , died Saturday, January 30, 2010, at 5:18 AM in Hospice of Lancaster County – Mt. Joy .  Born in Cumru Township , Berks County , a daughter of the late Frank and Viola (Hoffert) Grumling, her husband, Charles Richard Gehman, died January 16, 1998.  Evelyn was of the Lutheran faith and worked for Leininger Knitting Mill, Mohnton.  She was a great cook, loved her family and cherished her chocolate lab, “ Dixie ”.  Those left to cherish her memory include:  daughter, Linda V. (Timothy A.) Fritz, Denver ; son, Larry R. (Jane E. Dietrich) Gehman, Sr., Denver; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Doloris Potteiger, Gouglersville; and was predeceased by siblings, Eleanor, Raymond and Clair Grumbling. 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at 2:00 PM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with The Rev. Paul W. Smeltz officiating.  Burial will follow in Muddy Creek Cemetery , Swartzville.  A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
