Ruth Irene Kuntzleman

Ruth Irene Kuntzleman, 95, formerly of Tower City, died Saturday, January 5, 2008, at 10:30 AM in Denver Nursing Home, Stevens.  Born in Lykens, she was a daughter of the late Herman Howard and Annie (Stuppy) Meinhardt.  Her husband, Richard P. Kuntzleman, died in 1998.  A member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Reinerton, PA, she was a home economics teacher in Blain, PA, and a homemaker for many years.  She and her late husband spent many years as "Snow Birds", dividing their time between Florida and Pennsylvania.  She also taught senior dance classes in both Florida and Pennsylvania.  Surviving is a daughter, Janice A., wife of Kerry R. Palsgrove, Adamstown, PA, 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  A sister, Amy Melson, also preceded her in death.

A celebration of Ruth's life will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2008, at 11:00 AM from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with The Reverend Thomas E. Nicholas officiating.  There will be no viewing. Inurnment will be private in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City, PA.
